Today, the National Women’s Soccer League’s current non-allocated players announced the formation of an official Players’ Association. This has been a long time coming, and spearheaded mostly by Yael Averbuch, defender for FC Kansas City. Each team within the NWSL has representatives, and the PA will represent all non-allocated players within the league, including amateur players. We are extremely excited to announce this and believe it is the next step in continuing the growth of our league and soccer in this country.
